The Workshop is a tech company that develops incredible software for our clients in the online gaming industry. We make simple, refined and beautifully-designed games, but that’s not all – we do everything from research and development to marketing and support services. How? By hiring great people and trusting them to challenge, change, improve and perfect our products and processes. It’s the kind of place where you can try new ideas, take risks, and move fearlessly forward.

Your Mission

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a confident creative all-rounder. You’ll guide the brand look and feel of a cutting-edge tech company that’s in the process of raising its profile, taking on more clients, and hiring new people.

We’re not only looking for talent and experience – we need a confident, proactive person who can manage large projects from brief to delivery.

As part of the Marketing team, reporting to the Head of Marketing & Corporate Design, you’ll be working with a bunch of talented, fun professionals.

What you’ll do

  • Meet with stakeholders to gather requirements, and offer creative advice and solutions.
  • Devise and deliver high quality campaigns that support the business’s objectives.
  • You’ll quickly become an expert on our brand, and help us create a range of templates, guides and workshops that will help people help themselves.
  • As an expert on the brand, you’ll make sure everything we do feels like “The Workshop”.
  • You’ll also use your expertise to mentor other members of the team.
  • Build excellent relationships within the company, as well as external agencies and suppliers.
  • Be the point of contact for printers and suppliers, and make sure everything is on time and up to scratch.
  • Work with the Head of Marketing to deliver the design roadmap.
  • We value initiative, quality and speed. You’ll help refine processes that help us work as efficiently as possible.
  • Work on a range of projects: branding, merchandise, product kits, websites, material for events, including job fairs, conferences, and our awesome seasonal parties, and much more.
  • Make sure each project is on brand, on budget, and on time.

What you’ll bring

  • Obviously you’ll have a great portfolio that shows off your digital and print experience.
  • You’ll have experience working as part of an in-house or agency creative team
  • You can get other people (i.e. our stakeholders) excited about your ideas
  • The pace here is pretty fast, and priorities change. You’ll have no trouble adapting to get the job done.
  • We need your creative brainpower and practical skills. That means you don’t just think things, you also do things.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Video and motion graphics experience would be a huge plus.
  • Communication is key. You’ll be confident dealing with people at all levels of the business.
  • You’ll also be an all-round decent human who’ll fit in with our fun, friendly team of creatives.

What’s in it for you

 Our Inventors enjoy…

  • A great location in the heart of London’s Soho
  • Private medical insurance
  • Pension plan
  • Confidential support through Workplace Options
  • Loads of social events – from our weekly Thirsty Thursday drinks trolley to our big seasonal parties.
  • Keep your skills sharp with learning and training opportunities
  • Season ticket loan
  • Soft drinks and fresh fruit
  • Ping pong, darts and pool
  • Osteopathy and acupuncture
  • Regular Hackathon (for the techies) and Designathon (for the code-phobes)
  • Celebrate every four years of service with six weeks of paid leave on us

Sound good? Then we’d love to hear from you.
