Modern Slavery Act
Our Business
The Workshop designs, researches, develops and delivers software and services.
With locations in London and Spain, and over 400 employees from 36 countries, we work in a diverse, multicultural environment.
We’re an equal opportunities employer. Inspired by our motto “Fearlessly Forward,” we encourage the personal growth of all our Inventors regardless of gender, race, religion or sexual orientation.
Our Suppliers
When it comes to modern slavery, software development is a low risk industry, but we recognise that slavery can affect any sector and its supply chain. That’s why we’re committed to preventing practices associated with any form of slavery, or which violate existing employment laws.
As part of this commitment, the whole business has adopted a strict procurement process, which not only guarantees our employees’ rights are protected, but also ensures we protect the rights of our collaborators and suppliers of goods and services.
To meet our procurement standards, suppliers and contractors are required to comply with all employment legislation, ensuring that all their employees and contractors are:
- Engaged voluntarily;
- Compensated fairly and legally for their work.
Our Commitment
We’re committed to actively monitoring our internal procedures and policies in order to identify any issues within the business which may be associated with modern slavery. We will continue to work with our suppliers to introduce any necessary updates in line with current and future legislation.
